
The Public Management Development Program – Local Government Executives and Managers Class (PMDP-LGEMC) Batch 19 scholars presented innovative and development-driven project ideas during the vetting activity held at the Development Academy of the Philippines Conference Center, Tagaytay City, as part of the Course on Designing Innovative Projects for Local Development.
The activity was part of the scholars’ first week of intensive onsite learning sessions and workshops focused on understanding the situation in their respective localities and identifying relevant and innovative interventions for enhanced public service delivery and local development.
Distinguished experts and development leaders served as panelists during the activity, including Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity Mel Senen S. Sarmiento; DAP Acting Executive Vice-President and Senior Vice-President for Programs Magdalena L. Mendoza; DAP Vice-President Imelda C. Caluen; former Undersecretary of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Austere A. Panadero; former Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Undersecretary Angelita Y. Gregorio-Medel, PhD; DAP Directors Jannis T. Montañez, Gilbert E. Lumantao, Alvin P. Principe; LGEMC Program Manager Michelle N. Belga; and Corus International Philippines Country Representative Jansen M. Mayor.



Through the vetting activity, scholars received valuable technical guidance and strategic recommendations to further enhance their proposed innovation project initiatives.
