The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP), led by Executive Vice President Magdalena L. Mendoza alongside an 80-strong delegation of employees, actively participated in the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Lingkod Bayani Run 2026 on September 13, 2026, at the Quirino Grandstand, Rizal Park, Manila.
The program featured key addresses from agency leaders throughout the event. CSC Commissioner Atty. Ryan Alvin R. Acosta kicked off the formal proceedings with a Welcome Message, followed by CSC Chairperson Atty. Marilyn Barua-Yap, DPA, who delivered the Starting Line Message to inspire participants before the run. As the event concluded, Acting Director IV Roberto D. Cordova, Jr. shared a Message of Gratitude, and CSC Commissioner Atty. Luis Meinrado C. Pañgulayan, CESO I, closed the gathering with his Closing Message.
Aligned with the 126th PCSA theme, “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan,” and the run’s tagline, “Stride as One, Serve the Nation,” DAP’s participation highlights its ongoing dedication to promoting health and camaraderie among public servants. Proceeds generated from the nationwide event support the CSC’s Pamanang Lingkod Bayani (PLBi) Program, which provides financial aid and educational assistance to the families of civilian public servants who died in the line of duty.
Through its participation, the DAP highlighted its commitment to the Philippine civil service and interagency collaboration in delivering efficient, effective service for Bagong Pilipinas.
